These sports and more, are directed by top-notch coaches with international tournament playing and coaching experience with the goal of bringing the fundamentals and love of the game to every child. In addition to our Skills, Drills, and Thrills lessons and practice, we offer weekly league play to maximize the fun.
Using a unique progressive lesson curriculum, campers are grouped by age and skill level. Instruction is offered from the basics of water adjustment and beginner swimmers all the way to stroke refinement and competitive swimming techniques. We have one lesson period and at least one open swim everyday. Take a look at our swim graduation requirements!
Children are taught fundamentals in basic strokes, court play and etiquette by a player/coach with professional experience.
Whether it be for camper bonding, group-to-group challenges or just plain old fun, we revel in our classic camp activities and games. One week per summer, Color War offers campers the chance to cut loose, compete and bond together, regardless of age or skill level. For many, Color War is the highlight of the whole summer.
Beyond our expansive archery and skateboarding programs, we take adventure trips that challenge our campers in hiking, climbing and more.
Children are picked up from home at 7:30 – 8:30am and arrive at camp in Greenwich, Connecticut around 9:00. We leave camp just before 4:00pm and children arrive home at 4:30 – 5:30pm. The school buses are counselor-monitored to ensure safety and appropriate bus behavior. When dropping campers at home, we always check and make sure someone is there to receive them.
A typical day at camp will include activities blocked into approximately 50 minute periods such as skill clinics, games, swim lessons, open swim and adventure pursuits. Depending on the sport or activity, two periods may be scheduled to make games fuller and more fun. Campers will have different options every day. A nutritious lunch will be served in a dining area with several options including a hot entrée. We eat outside but we have an indoor cafeteria if it rains. In consideration for children with allergies, our camp is nut free.
