Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy

Corbin’s Corbin’s welcomes Kate Tempesta’s Urban Golf Academy as a new affiliate. KTUGA’s mission is to bring golf to urban environments and to share its magnificent and beneficial principles with kids on and off the golf course. KTUGA’s proprietary techniques teach youngsters age four and up the proper skills, rules and etiquette of the game. They provide all equipment, which includes traditional clubs to SNAG� to Birdie Ball� to Almost Golf� as well as a spectrum of additional athletic gear. When you enroll your child for lessons at Urban Golf Academy they will not only learn to play golf properly, they will walk away with so much more. Kate Tempesta, founder of UGA, is a member of the LPGA T&CP and the director of the Junior Golf Program at Montauk Downs. And, she is the lead golf instructor at Corbin’s Crusaders Sports Club.

Yorkville Youth Athletic Association

Corbin’s Crusaders Sports Club is proud to announce that we are now affiliated with Yorkville Youth Athletic Association. YYAA’s focus on camaraderie, competition and community along with their experienced staff are similar to our own, and their array of weekend leagues and travel teams in baseball, basketball, football, hockey and tennis are a tremendous complement to our current offering. Founded in 1995, YYAA currently has over 4,500 children participating in their sports and drama programs.

Fencing for Progress

Corbin’s Crusaders fencing program is brought to you by the instructors from Fencing for Progress. Fencing for Progress provides a comprehensive training program in the sport of fencing. From recreational fencers to national competitors, from pre-schoolers with their foam swords to teens on their high-school team and beyond, the focus at FFP is on learning, growth, fitness, confidence and mastery.
